Share and Export

.bragi packages for sharing canvases with assets.

Use .bragi packages to share a canvas workflow with its media files, archive an episode, or move a template between vaults.

Export a canvas

  1. Open the canvas you want to export.
  2. Open the command palette.
  3. Run Bragi Canvas: Export canvas as .bragi package.
  4. Choose a save location.

The .bragi file is a zip package containing:

example.bragi
├── manifest.json
├── canvas.json
└── assets/
    ├── image_001.png
    └── ...

Import and merge

  1. Open the target canvas in Obsidian.
  2. Run Bragi Canvas: Import .bragi package (merge into current canvas).
  3. Select the .bragi file.

Bragi extracts assets, assigns new node IDs, and shifts imported nodes to the right of existing content.

Import as new canvas

  1. Run Bragi Canvas: Import .bragi package (as new canvas).
  2. Select the .bragi file.

Bragi creates a sibling .canvas file next to your current canvas and opens it.

Clean up unused files

In Settings → Bragi Canvas → General:

  1. Click Clean up under Clean up unused files.
  2. Review the confirmation dialog.
  3. Confirm to remove indexed Bragi outputs no longer referenced on the active canvas.
